About Your Plan

RTX offers two plan options, Delta Dental Basic and Delta Dental Plus, allowing employees to select the plan that best meets their needs.  

Whether you select the Basic or Plus Plan, you have the flexibility to access two different Delta Dental national networks. Both networks offer discounted fees and great benefits. 75% of dentists nationally participate in one or both networks, so you are covered where you live and where you may travel.  

Delta Dental PPO℠ You will enjoy the greatest savings when you visit a Delta Dental PPO network dentist due to the deeper-discounted fees these dentists accept, making your benefit dollars go further.

Delta Dental Premier® You will receive good value when you visit a dentist in our broad-based Delta Dental Premier network because dentists in this network also accept discounted fees.

You can also see a dentist outside of our contracted networks – however, you will likely pay more. All claims must be submitted within one year of the date of service. 
 

Find a Dentist 

To find a dentist or to see if your current dentist is in one of our networks visit our Find a Dentist tool (select PPO Plus Premier in the drop-down menu) or call 877-335-8227.
 

Pre-Treatment Estimate 

Ask your dentist to submit a pre-estimate to Delta Dental for any procedure that exceeds $300. This will help you estimate in advance any out-of-pocket expenses you may incur and will confirm that the services you are having are covered under your dental coverage. 
 

Orthodontic Benefits 

If you or your dependent’s orthodontic treatment began before you were covered under a RTX Corporation dental plan, Delta Dental will pay a monthly fee for the remaining orthodontic visits until either the treatment is completed or the lifetime benefit maximum is exhausted, whichever comes first.
